Schedule of Events
3:00 PM- Check-in will be from 3:00-3:15 pm
3:15 PM- Opening Ceremony
3:30 PM- Begin 5K. Participants will have 60 minutes to complete the route.
4:30 PM- Closing Ceremony where we will recognize the 5K winner.
3:00-5:30 PM- Various activities will be available including: Chili Cook-off, make your own medal, story time, games, and more
Ways to Participate
5K Fun Run & Nature Walk
Step onto the path of courage with us by joining the 5K Run or 1-Mile Walk at our Festival of Courage! Muster your inner strength and take this opportunity to challenge yourself.
Register by October 7th to be eligible to purchase a t-shirt.
WSD Students can win a prize for the most runners recruited. Make sure you name them when registering!
Chili Cook-off
Have a chili recipe that you love? Enter into the chili cook-off! Attendees will vote in 4 categories: People’s Choice, Spiciest, Best Name, and Most Unique.
Bring a crock pot full of your best work and let our community put it to the test! Voting closes at 5:00 and the winners will be announced at 5:15.

Potluck Sides
We're inviting members of our wonderful school community to bring side items like:
Cornbread, Crackers, Shredded cheese, Sour cream, Chopped onions, Cilantro, guacamole, etc.
These items will be set out buffet-style and shared freely. This is community meal meant for everyone to enjoy together.

Funds raised will support our general fund, which we use to purchase classroom furniture, additional supplies, and support tuition assistance for our students.
