WSD Transfer
It's never too late to make a meaningful change in your child's education. Whether your family is coming from a public school or a traditional private school, transitioning to a Waldorf education can open up new possibilities for growth, creativity, and well-being. Waldorf schools welcome students at all stages of their academic journey, offering a nurturing environment that values the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. No matter the age or grade, the shift to Waldorf can reignite a love of learning and provide a more balanced, human-centered approach to education.

WSD Curriculum
As part of your child’s visit day, they will participate in an academic assessment to help us ensure a smooth transition into our curriculum. For subjects that may be new or different—such as handwork, Spanish, or music—we will offer guidance and support to help your child get caught up and feel confident as they join our learning community.

Care Group Support
We are always interested in learning about each child’s unique learning profile and how we might be able to support them within the rhythms of our program. We work closely with families to explore what’s possible. That said, because every situation is different, we take the time to thoughtfully consider whether we’re the right fit to help each student truly thrive.

The Waldorf Method
The Waldorf method is a holistic approach to education that nurtures the intellectual, emotional, and physical development of each child. Rooted in the rhythms of nature and human development, it emphasizes hands-on learning, the arts, storytelling, and movement alongside strong academics. Waldorf education aims to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
