Join us at the Elves' Market for a magical day of shopping and fun! This event will be held at The Waldorf School of DuPageDiscover unique gifts, handmade crafts, and delicious treats, local artisans and vendors. Enjoy live musical performances, magical story times, and end the evening in our community winter spiral. Whether you're looking for a special holiday present or just want to indulge in some festive cheer, the Elves' Market is the place to be.

Understanding The Winter Spiral
During Elves’ Market, we offer a community version of the beloved Advent Garden known as the Winter Spiral.
While the school-day Advent Garden is a curricular experience for students, the Winter Spiral opens this beautiful tradition to our broader community.
Guests are invited to walk a spiral of evergreens and place a candle along the path, gradually filling the space with soft, glowing light. The spiral (found throughout nature in shells, ferns, flowers, and even galaxies) symbolizes a journey inward toward stillness and outward again with renewed clarity.
The evergreens remind us that life endures through winter, and the single flame at the center represents the unique light each person carries within. The Winter Spiral offers a peaceful moment of reflection, warmth, and connection for all who attend.

In addition to the Elves’ Market, families have the opportunity to join us for the Community Winter Spiral. The spiral will begin at 4:45, and end at 6:30 with a closing song. People are welcome to walk the spiral any time between 4:45 and 6:30, and everyone is invited to come back outside at 6:30 for the closing song

Volunteer Your Time
We need parent volunteers to help with set-up, support during the event, and assist with clean-up. Even an hour makes a big difference!
Donate Handmade Crafts
Our market is known for its unique, student-loved treasures. Handmade crafts of all kinds—big or small—are warmly welcomed to be sold at our Sparkle Star Market.
Contribute Baked Goods
Delicious homemade treats help make the event festive and fun. A dozen Cookies, breads, and nut-free goodies are especially appreciated.

Vendor Registration
Set up will be available from 1:30-2:30 pm. All vendors must plan to be fully set up by 2:30 pm.
Once you register, a member of our community will reach out to you with more details at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
