Program Goal

Students will learn and strengthen fundamental volleyball skills while working cooperatively as team players. Success in this program looks like increased self-confidence, enjoyment of movement, and the shared experience of playing volleyball in a fun and supportive environment.

Coaches

We are delighted to offer this new program and look forward to seeing students grow in skill, confidence, and teamwork.

Julie Biedess

The program will be led by Julie, a WSD fourth-grade parent with a lifelong background in volleyball, including competitive club play, high school coaching, and ongoing participation in adult leagues.

Rachael Gage

Julie will be supported by Rachael Gage, our Games and Movement teacher, whose work blends movement education, mindfulness, and developmentally appropriate practices grounded in years of professional teaching and lived experience. Together, they bring both athletic expertise and a thoughtful, child-centered approach.

Club Profits

All profits from the volleyball club will be allocated to support and expand our WSD Games Program.
