Led by Stacey Montgomery, What Makes You a Leader? is based on the guided journal and curriculum Stacey developed for kids about leadership.  The goal of the class is to help students understand that every student can develop leadership skills that they can use every day at school, home, and in the community. The 3-session class will focus on 4 aspects of leadership:

1. A leader is a good communicator

2. A leader sets a good example

3. A leader is courageous

4. A leader values teamwork

For each of these, there will be group discussion and journaling.  There will also be role-play, games, and at least one craft.  This is a very hands-on, interactive class that encourages sharing and working together, and to give students the opportunity to “lead.”  As with all of Stacey’s classes, the overall goal is to strengthen self-esteem. 

Camps run from 10am-2pm
